So everyone is asking how things are going at the Ski Hill with all the strange weather here so far this month. Good News! There was 5 inches of snow back at Halloween and it has stayed!
However, there was some rain yesterday which did contribute to some melting and settling. But as the day cooled the rain turned to Big, Heavy, Wet snowflakes! So between the gain and loss and gain we have held on to our early snowfall!
So now you have to ask, “Am I ready?”

We have already had some snow this fall which means Duck Mountain needs its annual tidy and trim. We are going to be completing the fall maintenance this weekend! A crew will be trimming, painting, and cleaning in prep for the new season.
We will be at the hill on Saturday, October 19th and Sunday the 20th. If you want to help us out contact Craig Brock at 306-601-9021 or by messenger on Facebook.
Well, the heat has done its work. The temperature feels great but it also means that the snow is leaving. In the case of the hill, it is leaving rapidly. The runs are showing brown and black, the parking lot is muddy and the road is 4×4 only in spots.
We had sooo much fun this year and we want to thank all of our Sponsors, Staff, Volunteers, and especially everyone that visited the Duck this season. Whether you skied, snowboarded, or snowmobiled we were happy to have you at the hill and look forward to seeing you all next season.
See you in December!!
