C’Mon Ski the Duck
We’re ramping up for the season at the Duck and, as we have traditionally done, it’s time to do a few of the little items that take time and are a valuable contribution by our volunteers each season. It is through the help of people like you that our hill can keep expenses down, which is a big part of staying viable. On Sunday, December 2 if you are available your efforts would be most appreciated.
Some of the jobs to be tackled include
- Cleaning and organizing the rental shop
- A final clean of the day lodge – which was left in very good condition last spring.
- Stretch, lube and install the T-bars
- Create a safety barrier for the newly expanded launch area for the tube run
Wayne Sas is your contact person for this work bee. Email Wayne at email@example.com or phone 542-4000 if you are able to help out. A head count is appreciated as Wendy has offered to cook up a mid-afternoon lunch for those in attendance.
Also Duck Mountain Ski Area would like to welcome Carol Marriott. Carol is joining our forces at Duck Mountain and brings plenty of experience co-ordinating the efforts of groups like ours.
